报告摘要：
The report includes three aspects:
• Economic transactions in IoT: This work proposes a protocol where smart contracts can be established between IoT components to pay for data and services. Our prototype system is based on the Ethereum block chain and can be implemented on very low-end embedded systems that are commonly used in IoT.
• Embedded system security: This work has developed a hardware monitoring system for networked embedded processors that are susceptible to remote attacks. Our prototype system can detect attacks within a single processor instruction and does not need any knowledge of attack signatures.
• Protection of information in printed documents: This work demonstrates the application of information security principles to physical documents. Our prototype system uses augmented reality and cryptography to enable control of information access in physical documents.
The reporter illustrates how the curriculum in electrical and computer engineering connects with all the fundamental technical issues in the Internet of Things.
报告人简介：
Tilman Wolf教授现任美国麻省大学阿默斯特分校学术高级副教务长、工程学院副院长。在电气与计算机工程研究领域顶级国际会议及刊物上共发表文章近200篇，曾荣获美国国家科学基金会（NSF）颁发的杰出青年教授奖，多次荣获IEEE及多个期刊的最佳论文奖、IEEE杰出讲师等荣誉，并多次获得IBM Research Fellowship等多项研究基金。曾主导工程学院的项目建设，创立了生物医学工程学院。
