报告题目:Incorporation of Nanoparticles in Metal-Organic Frameworks for Selective Catalysis

报告摘要:

The site-selective reaction of a multi-functional linear molecule requires a suitable catalyst possessing both a uniform narrow channel to limit the molecule rotation and a designed active site in the channel. Recently, nanoparticles (NPs) have been incoporated in metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) with the tailorable porosity and ordered nanochannel, which makes these materials (NPs/MOFs) highly promising candidates as catalytic nanoreactor in the field of heterogeneous catalysis. However, most of the catalytic reactions employing NPs/MOFs as catalyst focused on the size or shape-selectivity of reactants and products, while the reaction of site-selectivity in one molecule remains a challenge, in spite of the significance of site-selectivity for the formation of a single product from multifunctional groups in the fields of catalysis and chemical synthesis. Herein, we developed a simple heterogeneous catalyst based on NPs/MOFs that exhibited site-selectivity for the oxidation of diols by restricting the random rotation of the molecule in the limited space of the MOF channel, thereby protecting the middle functional group via steric hindrance. This strategy is not limited to the oxidation of diols, but can be extended to the site-selective reaction of many similar multi-functional linear molecules, such as the reduction of alkadienes and unsaturated aldehydes.

张伟娜现任南京工业大学先进材料研究院研究员,研究方向为多孔配位聚合物复合材料、选择性催化、能源存储。以第一作者或共同作者身份在Advanced Materials、Angewandte Chemie International Edition、Chemistry of Materials、Chemical Communication、ACS Nano等国际知名期刊上发表研究论二十余篇、SCI他引500余次。先后应邀参与了第15届亚洲化学大会(ACC15)(2013年新加坡),第247届美国化学学会(2014年美国达拉斯),第41届国际配位化学会(ICCC)(2014年新加坡),中国化学会高分子年会(2015年中国苏州),第8届国际先进材料科技大会(ICMAT)(2015年新加坡),第9届“光电子学、材料与能源”国际研讨会(2016年中国南京),第1届南京工业大学-与南洋理工大学双边论坛(2016年中国南京)。先后主持了国家自然科学基金青年项目,江苏省自然科学基金青年项目,南京工业大学启动基金,南京邮电大学重点课题项目等。曾荣获国家自费留学生奖学金,新加坡南洋理工大学政府奖学金,西安交通大学优秀学生,江苏省“双创博士”人才计划等荣誉。
